By working in five different hospitals I am able to see patient care in a variety of scenarios whether it is Trauma at the University, Pediatric Surgery at Kosair, Surgical Oncology and Pancreaticobiliary Surgery at Norton Healthcare, Vascular Surgery at Jewish, or General Surgery at the VA Hospital -- the exposure to surgical pathology and operative care is outstanding. There are also opportunities to rotate at rural hospitals to obtain experience in this setting.
