We would like to create stronger ties with our alumni. To that end, please consider joining the Polk Society, which is the University of Louisville Department of Surgerys alumni organization named in honor of Dr. Hiram Polk Jr. who was Chairman of the Department of Surgery for three decades. This organization aims to build camaraderie among our graduates.
In addition, every year, the Department of Surgery holds a reception at the American College of Surgeons Annual Meeting to reconnect with our alumni.
