The Christine M. Kleinert Institute (CMKI) is a nonprofit education and research organization funded by the Kleinert-Kutz Endowment for Education and Research in Hand and Microsurgery. There has been genuinely synergistic relationship between the remarkable program that Dr. Kleinert and Kutz developed at Jewish Hospital in Hand Surgery and this Department. Key research continues in areas such as limb replantation, tissue transfer, nerve function, blood flow, and nerve compression.
